A new PATH station is making commuting into Manhattan easier than ever for residents of Harrison’s Riverbend District. Scheduled to open to riders on October 30th, the new Harrison station is near the buildings and businesses that have recently spurred a major renaissance in the area, including the Harrison apartments at Cobalt Lofts. And while the station’s opening has been anticipated for some time, the new glass- and steel-encased travel hub was well worth the wait, boasting weather-protected entryways, wider staircases, and escalators from street level to the trains, as well as longer platforms that allow for larger trains, more passengers, and a more comfortable commute.
